This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or engage our services. By accessing our website, you acknowledge you have read and understood this policy.
This policy does not govern the separate client portal used for transmitting tax documents and signing engagement letters. That portal is governed by its own consent notice, which you will receive at the time of engagement.

- If you schedule an appointment through our calendar link, our scheduling provider may share limited contact information with us

Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Safeguards Notice
As a tax preparation firm, Trade Tax Pro is a "financial institution" under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 CFR Part 314). This means we are required by federal law to protect the nonpublic personal information (NPI) of our clients.
What we protect: NPI includes personally identifiable financial information that you provide to obtain tax preparation services from us, or that we obtain in the course of providing those services. Limits on sharing NPI: We share NPI only as permitted by GLBA and as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not share NPI with unaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

Retention & Deletion
We retain client tax records and related information for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of the filing, consistent with IRS recordkeeping guidelines and standard professional practice for tax preparers.
Website contact form submissions and CRM records are retained for up to three (3) years unless you request earlier deletion.
You may request deletion of your personal information (subject to our legal recordkeeping obligations) by contacting us at the information below. We cannot delete information that we are legally required to retain.
